Museum Siam is a famous museum for young generation people from its concept of exhibiting the “Thainess” in a different way. Unlike the National Museum Bangkok where the exhibition focuses on the historical perspective, Museum Siam focuses on exploring the true meaning of Thainess by narrating stories across various dimensions, such as history, architecture, cultural traditions, cuisine, clothing, and more.

Decoding Thainess Exhibition
The “Decoding Thainess” story is exhibited throughout 14 exhibition zones, in its modern, engaging presentation, which connects historical narratives and displayed objects to contemporary life, encouraging visitors to relate the past to the present.

Temporary Exhibition
Topic of Thainess which is not part of the main exhibition – or sometimes newly discovered – will be displayed in a temporary exhibition zone. For example, the story of Muay Thai or Thai Boxing used to display temporarily here.

How to get there?
MRT Sanam Chai station. Get off the station and go to exit 1. The sign states the direction of Museum Siam. Take the escalator up, you will arrive in front of Museum Siam.
