Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara is the first temple of Sikhs in Thailand. It is located in the heart of the Phahurat, a renowned area with a large Indian community as many people call “Little India in Thailand.” The Gurdwara in Phahurat houses the holy scripture of Sikhism, and serves as a place for daily religious ceremonies and rituals for the Sikh community.

1. The community kitchen
The community kitchen at Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, known as Langar, is a vital aspect of Sikh tradition, offering free vegetarian meals to all visitors regardless of religion, caste, or background. Operated entirely by volunteers as an act of Seva (selfless service), the Langar reflects the Sikh values of equality, humility, and community. Everyone is seated at the same level while dining, symbolizing unity and the rejection of social hierarchies. It is located on the first floor where everyone can easily access.
2. The main prayer hall
The main prayer hall is located on the third floor of the building with a large scale and magnificent interior. This is the place where the sacred scripture of Sikhism, the Guru Granth Sahib, is enshrined. Shikhist and visitors can pay their respects and participate in religious ceremonies in this hall.

You can enter the community kitchen and dine with everyone here. The place is open daily from 7:00 until around 10:30, serving clean, simple vegetarian meals like roti, rice, and vegetable or lentil curries to large numbers of people. - Observe the ceremony
