What is the highlight?
1. All kinds of food at reasonable price
On the first floor, you can easily find a small food court in the area called Hug Thai next to the H&M shop. In this area, you can find Thai street food shops and some seats for a quick easy meal as well as some local products and souvenirs in this area.
On the 3rd floor, there are also many Thai local food restaurants near the Central department store such as ThongSmith the beef noodle everyone enjoy, Laemcharoen Seafood classic Thai seafood restaurant, Maesriruen family restaurants offering simple Thai dishes for everyone to share, Fah Pla Tahn high-end fish congee and fish noodle shop, etc.
Not only the Thai food restaurant located on this floor, but also an area on the other wing offers Japanese food as well as Japanese style desserts and coffee. You can buy and sit around this area to relax your feet.
If you prefer some serious meals and couldn’t think of a menu, on the 6th-7th floor there is a massive dining hall filled with hundreds of restaurants, offering all kinds of food you can ever imagine.
Starting from Japanese restaurants on these floors, you can enjoy a simple set menu at Zen restaurant, or all kinds of curry rice at CoCo ICHIBANYA, tonkatsu specialised restaurant at Tonkatsu Wako, premium ramen at Ramen Ippudo, Specialty udon at Tsuru Udon, Kobe Steakhouse for Japanese style of steak, Katsu Midori famous Japanese conveyor belt sushi, etc.
If you prefer some Western food, you can also go for a steak and salad at Sizzler, fusion food with fresh pasta dishes at Spaghetti Factory, or try some French roasted chicken dish at Poulet, etc.
Chinese restaurants are now becoming popular and can be found on the 6th-7th floor as well such as Haidilao famous Chinese hotpot brand across Asia, Din Tai Fung famous dim sum shop guaranteed by Michenlin’s guide, Chuan Kitchen for a simple Chinese set menu, or Mak’s Noodle offering Hongkong style of noodle, etc.
Korean food restaurants are also located around the 6th-7th floor such as Saemaeul Korean premium BBQ, BHC Chicken Korean fried chicken and comfort food, SOLSOT Korean clay pot set menu, etc.
For Thai foods, there will be many street food shops in the foodwOrld zone which is another food court on the 7th floor.
Desserts and coffee shops can be found everywhere around the shopping mall.
2. Ultimate shopping experience
Central World offers you a range of brands from mid-tier to luxury brands. Just like every shopping mall, each floor represents a category of items you can buy. Luxury brands, and mid-tier apparel brands are located on the 1st floor. You can find Dior, Michael Kors, Karl Lagerfeld, Armani Exchange, Coach, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, etc. on this floor.
The 2nd floor is female everyday wear such as Zara, Charles & Keith, JASPAL, Gentle Women, Pomelo, Kloset, etc. Shops for baby equipment and toys are located on this floor as well such as Kiddoland, BABYHILLS, Baby Basket, etc.
On the 3rd floor, Uniqlo is located here as well as other sports and streetwear shops like Adidas, The North Face, ASICS, etc.
Electronics and hobbies are on the 4th floor. Camera shops as well as mobile and electronic gadgets can be found here. Shops such as Big Camera, Banana IT, JIB – a professional shop for buying a customized personal computer, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc. are located on this floor.
The 5th floor is for home decor shops such as NITORI – Japanese home appliances and furniture shop, Future Living – futuristic arm chair, HOOGA, etc. Beauty services can be found here at this floor as well such as Erb spa, KLINIQ wellness spa, as well as many dermatology treatment clinics. There are also small sections of watches shops, musical instrument shops and shops for female everyday apparel around the 5th floor as well.
If you are lazy to find the shop outside or just want to look for some generic stuffs for your everyday use, you can also go to the Central department store which offers cosmetics, male and female apparels, streetwear, shoes, high heel, sport shoes, leather shoes, leather goods, as well as, bathroom items, bedding items, home decoration, and small kitchen appliances.
3. The Rink Ice Arena
The other special thing about Central World is an impressive indoor ice skate area called The Rink Ice Arena. You can rent ice skate shoes as well as additional equipment to assist you to walk on ice. You can also drop your kids in the field for a couple of hours while enjoying shopping. There will be staff to take care of your children and help guiding them to do a walk on ice. The Rink is located on the 2nd floor, near the mother and kids zone, next to Zara shop.
Opening hours
Central World as well as the Central department store opens daily from 10:00 until 22:00. However, some restaurants or shops outside of the department store may close earlier than the shopping mall, especially the luxury shopping brands. Please check the opening hours of the shop you would like to visit as well.
Entrance fee
No entrance fee for entering a shopping mall. The restroom inside the shopping mall is also free. However, goods, food, beverages and services offered from a shop or department store are not free.

By BTS
This is the most convenient way to visit Central World. Get off the train at BTS Chit Lom station and use the skywalk. Walk along the skywalk around 330 meters, you will find the entrance of Central World on your right hand side.
By MRT
Another option if you come from the other part of Bangkok where MRT is closer to you, go to MRT Sukhumvit station and take the escalator at exit 3 up to the 2nd floor. Here you will arrive at the ticket office of BTS Asok station and continue to use BTS from this point.
By Car
There are parking spaces which can accommodate over 3,000 cars at Central World. However, there will be a parking fee per hour applied. Please look for parking fee information at the shopping mall. The traffic can be very bad in this area during rush hour and working hours, so please be careful if you plan to visit other places after or have an appointment at the exact time.
By Taxi/Tuktuk
It is not recommended to use a Taxi or Tuktuk to the area or from this area because the traffic can be very bad during rush hour and working hours and you may be asked to pay more. If you cannot avoid using a Taxi or Tuktuk to this area, please feel free to negotiate the price or use ride-hailing applications such as Grab, Bolt or Muvmi (an application for sharing a Tuktuk ride). Also be careful if you plan to visit other places after or have an appointment at the exact time due to the traffic.
