Great Location and Reasonable Hotel Price
At Asok intersection, you can access both MRT metro and BTS skytrain system which can easily bring you to almost every landmark of Bangkok. For example, if you want to visit Central World, Siam Paragon and MBK, it only takes 15 minutes via BTS skytrain. You can also go to Dusit Central Park or IconSiam via BTS Silom line (Dark Green line) within 30 minutes including 1 transit at Siam. Via MRT, you can always go to The Grand Palace and Wat Arun via MRT within 30 minutes or the famous Yaowarat Chinatown for evening dinner within just 20 minutes from Asok.
It is also very convenient to be here from the airport as well with only around 40 minutes by airport link and MRT.

For such a convenient location, you may think that the price of a hotel must be expensive. But in fact, you can easily find 4-5 stars hotels in this area for less than 100 USD per night. Compared to the other prime locations such as Ratchaprasong, where the Erawan Shrine and Central World is located, you will need at least 100 USD per night while it connects only to the BTS skytrain, which means you need to do a transit in case you want to visit some place by MRT. Moreover, the vibe of Ratchaprasong is more of a commercial vibe where many nice places are located inside a shopping mall or a hotel building while Asok is more of a street vibe, filled with many nice standalone restaurants and bars along the street where you can stop by any place you like.
