Spending a lovely evening at East Ocean, SC Park Hotel. It’s such a cozy and welcoming place, famous for their legendary Peking Duck and Cantonese flavors. Tonight, we’re treating ourselves to their Dim Sum and Chinese dinner buffet. Everything feels so warm and inviting here.

With over 30 dishes to choose from, everything looked so tempting that I couldn’t decide… so I just ordered one of everything!

The service here is wonderful—so attentive and incredibly fast. Everything looks so appetizing that I didn’t know where to start! So, let’s begin with this special treat: one per person, the ‘Deep-fried Prawns with Cream Salad.’ The prawns are so bouncy and fried to crispy perfection, topped with a creamy dressing that balances everything beautifully. Now that we’ve had the perfect appetizer, let’s move on to the Dim Sum!

The highlight here has to be the size—each piece is huge and so generously filled. You get whole, bouncy prawns in every single bite! No matter where you bite, it’s all shrimp. As a true Dim Sum lover, this absolutely stole my heart. ❤️
Moving on to the Chinese main courses! Each dish is served in just the right portion, so you can enjoy a bit of everything. From savory stir-fries and comforting soups to delicious noodle dishes, there’s so much to explore.

Everything is seasoned just right—so mellow and not oily at all. For those who love rice, you have to try their Shrimp Fried Rice. It’s so incredibly delicious!

As a devoted fan of fried snacks, I had to order a variety of them! My absolute favorites are the Deep-fried Taro and the Shrimp-stuffed Bean Curd Skin. They are perfectly fried—so crispy and not greasy at all. Dipping them in the sweet plum sauce makes everything just perfect.

Their soups are just as impressive as the other dishes. Both the Szechuan Soup and the Fish Maw Soup are perfectly seasoned—so warm, soothing, and easy to enjoy. They really comfort the soul with every sip.
To end this wonderful meal, we had the Jelly Dok Muen Li Chinese Jujube and the Jelly Pudding Fruit Salad. I’m honestly so impressed with both the flavor and the service. While I’m a bit sad the Peking Duck isn’t included in the 790 Baht price, the unlimited Dim Sum and premium stir-fries are still incredible value. Definitely worth a visit for the shrimp lovers! (Just an update, the Peking Duck buffet is priced at 1,299 Baht net per person.)

Whether it’s a warm family gathering or a fun hangout with friends, this place is perfect. If you want to experience a satisfying feast like mine, don’t forget to visit East Ocean at SC Park Hotel (Ekkamai-Ramintra). See you there!
